I’ll keep this brief since it’s a lengthy story and we’ve been discussing it for the past two days. I discovered that my wife was dishonest about something early on in our relationship. What’s really hurting me isn’t the lie itself, but the fact that I had to extract the truth from her, despite giving her several opportunities to be honest during our conversations. Now, I can’t help but wonder what else she might have lied about. Still, I love her and find myself seeking advice from strangers.
