Sexual Problems and Intimacy • piratewolf46 • 2mo ago

My girlfriend (18) mentioned to me (19) that if she were a guy, she believes she would be more well-endowed.

My girlfriend mentioned that if she were a guy, she would have a bigger penis than me. She hasn't seen mine in person yet, but she has felt it through my pants. We haven't had the opportunity to be intimate because her family is usually around. Perhaps she made that remark out of frustration from a sarcastic joke I made that she took personally. Should I be concerned about this? Is it common in relationships? Just for reference, mine is over 6.5 inches.

How did you feel when she made that comment, and have you discussed it further with her?

It's not unusual for partners to make comments about body image, often in jest or frustration. Her remark may reflect insecurities or a playful challenge rather than a direct comparison. Focus on open communication about feelings and intimacy, and don’t let one comment create doubt. Trust and understanding are key in relationships.

It's understandable to feel concerned about comments like that, especially when they touch on sensitive areas. Your girlfriend might be joking or expressing her own insecurities rather than critiquing you. It's common for partners to tease each other, but if it bothers you, consider talking about it openly in a light-hearted way. Communication is key; sharing your feelings can strengthen your relationship. Just be patient and create space for intimacy when you both feel ready!

One evening, under a starlit sky, my girlfriend playfully teased me about being more well-endowed if she were a guy. I chuckled, reassuring her that size isn’t everything—it’s the connection that matters! We laughed it off, realizing our bond was stronger than any joke. Intimacy will come in time; patience can be a beautiful thing.
