I [35F] discovered erectile dysfunction pills in my boyfriend's [41M] wash bag.

I recently discovered Viagra and tadalafil in my boyfriend's wash bag, and I'm uncertain about how to feel about it. We don't live together, so he brings an overnight bag with his toiletries when he stays at my place. To be completely honest, I found the pills while snooping through his things. I know I shouldn't have done that, and now I can't tell him what I found because it would break his trust. The issue is that the tablets seem to be disappearing when he's not with me. For instance, he recently stayed with family for a night, and upon his return, I noticed two Viagra pills and some tadalafil were missing. He also went on a five-day work trip overseas—I'm absolutely sure he was where he said he was—but when he got back, two more Viagra pills were gone. Over the past couple of months, I estimate he has used about six Viagra and four tadalafil tablets. I’ve never seen him take any of these medications before, nor had I noticed them in his wash bag until recently (since January). We're still being intimate, but I’m at a loss about what this means. Edit: 1. We’ve been together for about 14 months, and my partner has young children with whom I have a relationship. 2. I can’t explain why I chose to snoop, but now that I know about the pills, I can’t help but check if they’re being used. 3. I realize that my snooping makes me seem untrustworthy and less than ideal. I come from a history of abusive relationships, which has left me feeling incredibly insecure to the point of self-sabotage.

It's tough to navigate trust issues. Consider having an open, honest conversation with him.

It sounds like you're in a tough spot. Trust is crucial in any relationship, and it’s understandable to feel anxious about what you found. Maybe try having an open, honest conversation with him about intimacy and feelings without mentioning the pills. Focus on building trust and understanding each other better. Good luck!

Have you considered discussing your feelings of insecurity and the trust issues from your past with your boyfriend, rather than directly approaching the topic of the pills?

Trust is crucial, so focus on fostering an open dialogue about intimacy and any underlying issues that may exist.

It's understandable to feel uncertain and insecure given the context. How do you think you can approach a conversation with him about intimacy and your feelings without directly mentioning the pills?

How do you feel about having an open conversation with your boyfriend regarding intimacy and any concerns you might have, without specifically mentioning the pills?

It's understandable to feel uneasy after finding the pills, especially given your past experiences. Communication is key in any relationship. Instead of confronting him directly about the pills, consider discussing your concerns about intimacy and trust. This could create an open space for him to share without feeling accused.

It’s tough; maybe have an open chat about intimacy and see where it leads. Trust is key!
